Senzu Style Diva is Keeping it Local!

Welcome to the weekend, fellow Style Divas! 
This Senzu Diva has had an exciting week behind her, and I love being able to share it with you on this blog. We've been going gangbusters to get everything ready for the upcoming Senzu Soft Launch Cocktail party, which is scheduled for Wednesday the 29th September. We'll have the full collection on display, chances to win your favorite piece and other fun stuff. In addition, my sister's company will be catering the event: Bizou Creative Catering.  If you'd like to attend, please email me or contact me via FB or Twitter, it is a private event and it will be special! 


Which brings me to the second major news item; you can now follow us on Twitter (@senzustyle)and also join our Facebook group (senzustyle)! All these will allow you to get the latest news updates, get notified when new pieces are added to the collection and where you can find us Senzu Style Divas around town. 


As one of the founders of Senzu, we love being involved in and supporting local businesses, especially when it is something as stylish as the opening of the new Café Borg at Silkeborg! Check out Silkeborg's website here. Silkeborg is a great boutique with lots of beautiful clothing, home decor and now they've added a stylish café on their second floor. 


This Senzu Style Diva and her husband Brad Mol had the honour of attending the Opening Party on Thursday the 23rd of September, alongside many other guests, including The Wine Ladies Georgia and Suzanne, with their signature oversized wine glasses and flair. They added some great pizzazz to the affair. Check out the Wine Ladies' website here. Next time you are in downtown Oakville, please check out the Silkeborg store and their new Café Borg! 


Senzu (and the two Style Divas) are local to Oakville and therefore members of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce. We like to support local businesses, as it keeps the place you live, shop and work alive! Hope you'll give it a go too? ;-)

Senzu Diva's take on NY Fashion Week 2010 Jewellery Trends!

Good evening fellow Style Divas! 

It has been a busy week in the life of this Senzu Style Diva. Every day is one day closer to the soft launch (announcing soon!) of Senzu in Canada and our website activation. More on that in my next blog post! 

With the 2010 New York Fashion Week just behind us and Montréal Fashion Week scheduled for the end of this month, I thought it a perfect time to update you on the jewellery trends as seen on the catwalks, as worn by the designers and of course all the celebrities that attended in New York!

The focus this coming Fall and Winter season will be on bangles, dramatic chunky bracelets and necklaces, layering and architectural pieces. Michael Kors collection showed off bold, but simple pieces with clean lines.

Philip Lim, Anna Shui and Donna Karan all showed off layered bracelets, necklaces and oversized or multiple pieces that made a statement. Donna Karan's models also wore necklaces and bracelets with up-sized links.

Men's jewellery is also continuing to be more and more popular each year, especially mixed metals, leather and rubber bracelets. Brad, this Style Diva's husband, is in fact sporting one of our black leather bracelets and his feedback is that it is very comfortable to wear and he is impressed by the secure clasp. 


Senzu's Inaugural Fall and Winter Collection has many of these features, so you can strut Haute Couture and runway style on a mere mortal's budget! 
Many of the pieces we've selected are oversized, ideal for layering and showing lots of flexibility to wear to work, at home or for a night on the town.

Senzu Style Divas' very first blog!

Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to the Senzu Style Divas' very first blog, ever! 


To introduce, my name is Cristel, I am one of the founders  of the soon-to-be launched Senzu Style Experience. Our company will empower women and men to start their own business, be their own boss, as Independent Stylists with our direct sales company, Senzu Limited. My partner-in-style, Sumitra, and I have been working around the clock to get everything ready for the (soft) launch day. Lots of things to consider to make being a Senzu Stylist a great business opportunity! But it is also very exciting and in an industry I love (jewellery!), so the hours just fly by, and before I know it, the sun is setting and my stomach growling! 


Sumitra and I hope to launch the first stages of the senzustyle.ca website within the next few weeks, and I can hardly wait to share it with you all. We have selected 34 beautifully crafted stainless steel jewellery pieces to start the 2010 Collection with, and are already working on the Christmas specials. Our signature jewellery pieces will be beautiful pendants and earrings with white, pink or black pearl, set in stainless steel with crystal accents. They are my favorite pieces!
